I really like the spoon that comes with it. This is a cute little sugar bowl.
Furthermore, it makes the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted and has completely changed the way I appreciate coffee brewed from freshly ground beans.I have been using my coffee pot many times a day for a month now and it is still in perfect condition. I also have the tea infuser and the creamer and sugar set. Like almost everything these days, this coffee pot is made in the People's Republic of China. It has also been in and out of the dishwasher. I just regret that stuff like this can't seem be made in the USA any more. But don't let that put you off. It is extremely high quality and very well made (unlike most Chinese products).
I also ordered the stainless steel creamer from Frieling as well. Great to use every day or for special occasions. I had been looking for quite a while in several stores in several states for a stainless steel sugar bowl to go along with my stainless steel butter dish. Both are very functional and stylish. I would recommend them to anyone. Found this one online and decided to order it. I am very pleased with how it matches quite well with my butter dish even though they are different brands.
I like it so much that I just purchased the matching creamer. Simple, beautiful, and made of stainless steel so no one can drop and shatter it.It is easy to clean. Highly recommended. I was looking for a simple yet functional sugar bowl after my husband dropped and shattered my crystal one last year.Went to numerous retailers to find a 'perfect' replacement, and after exhausting about 2 weeks, I've decided to look on-line. After about 300 sugar bowls I saw on Amazon.com, I've come across this one from Frieling and knew this was the one I needed.
I hated to return it, but the tell-tale signs of finger smears would have driven me crazy. Turns out the entire set is stainless steel. The size of the bowl and the spoon were SO ideal. I ended up sending the sugar bowl back. From the picture, I thought the base would be porcelain and the spoon and top would be stainless steel.
